This place is my top pick! It's in a great and peaceful spot, just a short stroll to the city center, a pub, and a beer garden. Plus, it's not too far from the grand Minster, so you've got everything nearby!

We were given a budget room, it was reasonably spacious and brand-new.

I stayed here for a trip and definitely coming here again. Everything was great from the staff to the room, exceptionally comfortable bed and tidy room. Location: the hotel was close to city centre as well as the pub. Seafood restaurant The Sea Catcher was located 5 minutes walk away. Every staff member was outstandingly accommodating and friendly.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were chatty.

This venue's location is perfect, being within walking distance from Kings Square and close to the city center, a pub, and the cathedral.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with many attractions within walking distance. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and well-maintained. the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries and the towels were of good quality. the breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from.

The noise from the surrounding area could be disturbing at times.

The rooms are clean, cosy, have a good-sized bathroom, tasteful decor, and comfortable beds.

The room was brand-new and reasonably spacious with tasteful decor. It had excellent facilities and a comfortable bed. The location was particularly good, so close to the pub and the beer garden.

Enjoyed our time here and didn't want to leave. We'll definitely come back soon. It was a great spot for a one-night stay. The location was central and super close to the beer garden. 🍻

The staff were amicable and the location next to the city walls was magnificent. The deluxe queen room I booked had a multi-channel TV, a seating area, and a study table.

I had a great stay at Gillygate Bar And Rooms. The location was ideal, being centrally located and close to everything I wanted to see and do in York. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds that provided a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, and milk that were provided. The staff member Megan was fantastic; she was cute and were really good too ensure my stay was enjoyable. Car parking was easy and convenient.

I had a great one-night stay at this place which was centrally located with easy access to the beer garden, and there was a Kings Pizza nearby where I had a fantastic supper.

The rooms here are clean, comfortable, and can accommodate up to four people.

The location was perfect, just a short walk away from all the major attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring all my needs were met.

Although there were a few minor issues, such as a damp feeling in the room and some black mould in the bathroom, it did not overshadow my overall positive experience. The room was cozy and well-maintained, providing all the necessary amenities.

The location of the place is fantastic, with York Minster nearby.
